Our Teacher Training Offer

Our GET Teaching school-led PGCE programme offers you the perfect combination of classroom experience and academic training.

You will be based at your host school as soon as the term starts in September. You are considered part of the team from the very beginning and will take part in all areas of school life. Your will start in your preferred Key Stage and we aim to place you in your preferred school. 

You will have two formal assessed placements, one in each Key Stage; the first, early in the spring term, and the second, towards the end of the spring and into the summer term.   

Training sessions are delivered once a week (usually Fridays) by current leading practitioners in our schools or  from Outstanding provider of teacher training, Winchester University.

Not only will you get to know two schools in-depth during your placements, you will experience our many different primary settings over the course of the training days.
